The new computer program we have been introduced to recently is called Blender. Blender is a 3-D program that allows the user to create a new environment with tools to customize whatever you want. Blender has many possibilities throughout its programs. You have to experiment with the program to actually learn all the tools at your disposable.http://www.blender.org/ I personally enjoy the program because it allows me tocerate what I want.

ROTC yes or no?

ROTC programs provides leadership and military experiences through a universities across the country. The ROTC program varies at every school you attend. The classes are similar but the physical training of the course varies. The pros of the ROTC program is that if you attend a college enrolled in a program everything is free(books, tuition, board etc.) The health insurance you receive is also free. Before you enroll however you have the option to join the army for a guarantee 2-4 years or stay in the reserves for 6.
The ROTC is a good choice for people who want to get involved in the military lifestyle. The program gives young cadets the knowledge of the military and give them the option to leave with the knowledge or to enlist in the army or another branch.

Digital Game Based Learning Education(DGBL)

Digital game based learning education creates educational games explicitly designed with educational purposes, or have incidental or secondary educational value. A few good aspects of the DGBL program is that the teacher can create and customize any part of the program to suite whatever he or she may be teaching. The building tools are easy to work with allowing anyone to create a lesson for the students to learn.
Although with all the pros of the DGBL program, the system does has its flaws. The designing system is very time consuming. The programming takes more to create and design the program than it actually does to teach or even learn the topic. Some of the environments that can be created cannot be turned into a interactive scenario. Only allowing the students to learn by watching. Another challenge comes from the teacher, will trying to create a topic to teach, the teacher also has to create the game. Being a game designer and a teacher.

The Matrix_ red or blue?

The Matrix a movie that plays with your mind, but is also a very entertaining watch. For those who have seen the movie converse with others asking one universal question. Would you take the red pill or the blue?
Now which one would you choose? Me? I would choose the red pill. I would want to learn about the things I don't already know. Taking the red pill is like an escape of your life. It is like a start of a new life only this time you are smarter.
The Matrix is a great movie and I suggest if you have the time to watch it.

google

The idea that Google could potentially take over the world is a serious thought. With the companies recent acquisition of Motorola, a prominent cell phone company. Google world dominance would not be anytime soon. With Google buying out companies left and right, why has no one claimed a monopoly on Google's dominance?

Video Game Edition

At this moment a highly awaited and anticipated part of gaming was released a few weeks ago, this being Grand theft Auto V. This highly awaited game release generated more money just from pre-orders alone. It cost roughly $280 million to make. The company Rockstar was not expecting such a number of people on release day so the company was experiencing many problems including not enough copies for those who pre-ordered and those who just wanted a copy. Another problem the company endured was unreliable servers on the release date for the online portion of the game. The servers were quickly overwhelmed and the next day lead to the first update in a new game. The update improved servers and the function ability for the users.

Should students be allowed to text during school?

Should students be allowed to text during school?

The debate of students texting during school has been in debate for as long as text messaging or SMS systems have been in use. In the opinion of the student it is a clear yes, but to the teacher it is a clear no.
